The 2022 State of AEC Project Management Research Report

Based on a survey of 507 AEC leaders across the UK, US and APAC, this research report uncovers how the shift to hybrid working has made email more critical than ever to project delivery, while firms' ability to manage, retrieve and protect that correspondence has failed to keep pace.

The findings reveal a clear pattern: 78% of firms experienced a dispute in the last 12 months, yet only 44% require employees to file project emails centrally. One in three businesses lose critical correspondence when staff leave. And 90% of scope change information, the single most common cause of disputes, lives in email and formal documents that most firms cannot quickly produce.
